Becky Leatham

CYA Executive Director

Becky is a Certified Prevention Specialist and has spent the last 20 years in the field of youth leadership and substance abuse prevention. A lifelong Idahoan, she is the mother to four, grandma five, and “mom’ to hundreds. Becky began her journey impacting teens many years ago as a volunteer at her children’s school and an AmeriCorps Service Member. She credits her success to great mentors early in her career and a knowledgeable and passionate group of co-workers she calls friends today. Becky is the founder and Executive Director for Community Youth in Action and is mentoring a large staff to always carry on her mission.

Shawna TenEyck

Board Chair

Shawna TenEyck is the Administrator of Children’s Supportive Services, Inc. She has been with CSS since 1998, starting in Partial Care during her Idaho State University internship, and holds a Master’s Degree from Walla Walla College. Shawna has worked in adult and youth mental health, helped develop the CIT with law enforcement, and serves on the Idaho Clinical and Training committee. She enjoys supporting kids and families and spending time with her family and traveling.

Ashley Stallings

Board Vice Chair

Ashley is Executive Director of Upper Valley CAC. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from BYU-Idaho and a Master’s in Child Advocacy and Policy from Montclair State University. A trained Child Advocate and Forensic Interviewer, she has educated hundreds on preventing and responding to child abuse and serves on the Idaho Region 7 Behavioral Health Board and as CYA Board Treasurer. Ashley enjoys supporting child survivors and their families, and in her free time, she loves family, outdoor activities, and anything chocolate.

Nick Chaffin

Board Treasurer

Nick has served on the board since fall 2019. A former teen volunteer, he led TRAPPED for three years and spoke to community and state leaders about teen marijuana use. Today, he works at the INL. In his spare time he coaches youth baseball and spends time with his wife and family.

Brady Stevens

Board Secretary

Brady is a juvenile probation officer in Bonneville County and a dedicated supporter of Community Youth in Action, recognizing the critical role of prevention in reducing youth involvement in the juvenile justice system. He was raised in Idaho Falls and is married to his childhood sweetheart, whom he has loved since the age of 13.

Kyle Osborne

Board Member

Kyle is a Skyline High School graduate and a member of the alumni from the community coalition program. He loves tattoos, cats, his wife Kathryn, and his Harley Davidson. Kyle works as a security guard at the INL and he proudly serves the United States in the Army Reserves.
